Description

Job Title:
Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials
Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts
Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse
Valid forklift operator certification required
Proficient in operating different types of forklifts, such as sitdown, standup, or reach trucks
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
