_ Position Overview _
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our dynamic team.

The
Electronic Records Specialist plans, develops, and implements the BCSC's electronic document and records management system (EDRMS), information management strategies, and related training in order to ensure the records management program supports business needs, complies with legislated priorities, and meets international/national records standards.


_Key Responsibilities__ _**- Developing, implementing, and updating policies and procedures for the EDRMS that implement records management practices and follow records management standards

  • Leading routine EDRMS system modifications to meet regulatory and business requirements, and communicating system changes to stakeholders
  • Managing EDRMS user accounts, security groups, access settings and system metadata as Tier 2 support
  • Create coaching and training material in records management tools and resources based on staff needs
  • Auditing staff use of C: Drives for records, and providing coaching and training to correct
  • Developing the EDRMS training program for new staff, including training help desk staff who will meet with staff
  • Managing the processing of records for semiactive storage and final disposition
  • Leading and coordinating electronic records destruction process
  • Auditing the scanned material produced by the Senior Records Coordinator before the material is sent offsite
  • Maintaining recordsrelated processes for internal mail management
  • Other duties as required.

_ Qualifications_

_ _

  • Minimum of three (3) years of electronic records management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with records and information management principles, standards and legislation
  • Experience with the Information Management Act is an asset. Experience amending an ORCS schedule is an asset.
  • Strong computer literacy with a demonstrated aptitude for working with different software packages and systems. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 36
  • Intermediate level experience with SharePoint online and Microsoft Compliance Manager/Purview.
  • Training experience, including developing materials and delivering training, is an asset.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information to a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating projects and programs that affect all staff

_Salary Range:
_

The salary range for this position is $63,721 (minimum) - $79,654 (midpoint) - $95,584 (maximum).
