We're hiring an

Assistant Manager at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Burlington at 491 Appleby Line to help lead our team.


Qualifications

  • Customer service experience of at least 5 years
  • Sales experience of at least 5 years with proven ability to increase KPI's
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience in a fastpaced environment of at least 20 staff
  • Effective organization skills, able to handle multiple duties simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time management, problemsolving and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexible and available to work varied shifts (evenings and weekends)
  • Professional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Team building skills
  • Selfmotivated and works with autonomy

Working at Hand and Stone The Assistant Manager is a full-time, permanent position, with variable hours up to 10pm, 5 days a week, ranging Monday to Sunday. Salary range starts at $22/hour and is commensurate with experience. We offer group benefits, employee discounts, and perks.

  • While your primary job is offsetting the management position when they are off duty, overseeing the front desk staff and ensuring the appointment book is full, memberships are offered, and clients are looked after are the key components of the role.

A Multi-tasker - You have a keen sense at knowing what is a priority in the moment and then dealing with it - especially when it involves a customer. You are calmly able to handle a very busy environment with many interruptions and yet find the necessary opportunities to coach staff in the moment or make a client feel extra special and welcomed to the spa when need be.

  • You love solving problems by thinking differently, and are driven by opportunities to enhance the business, be it ensuring the appointment book is always full to coaching staff to increase service upgrades; you see where the business can grow and you figure out how to make it happen.

  • You have an inherent ability to serve customers and exceed their every thought when coming to the spa, which you can translate to the staff through coaching. You are an expert in customer service and always strive for perfection. You are able to inspire and train the staff to put themselves in the shoes of the client to ensure their experience is perfect at every touch point.
