The Program Assistant provides a variety of office administrative, secretarial and financial support services in the Health Human Resources and Labour Relations Division also a liaison with ministry executive offices.

Job Requirements:

Secondary school graduation OR successful completion of General Educational Development (GED).
Minimum one (1) year administrative/clerical/secretarial experience working in an office setting.
Experience typing, formatting, and proofreading a variety of documents using MS Office (Outlook/ Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint) or similar programs.
Experience managing a calendar including scheduling/booking meetings, appointments, events and travel arrangements.

Preference may be given to applicants who have:

Post-secondary education or training in a field related to business, office or public administration.
More than one (1) year administrative/clerical/secretarial experience working in an office setting.
Experience with CLIFF and eApprovals.
Experience providing services to a broad range of clients.
Experience in records management practices, process and filing systems, including the set up and implementation of a records management system (e

g:
ARCS and ORCS).

Experience with managing credit accounts and processing financial transactions.
