Description

The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Digital Design Lead who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

College diploma or certificate in related area or a combination of education and relevant work experience
Highly proficient with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, XD, or similar
Experience creating and managing design systems and style guides
Experience working with HTML/CSS is a strong asset
Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset

Skills and Ability:

Ability to create highquality digital designs that drive customer engagement and conversion
Ability to provide design direction and oversight to ensure design excellence and consistency aligned to Mint strategy
Leads design reviews and collaborates with team members to ensure proper implementation across digital customer touch points, and ensures consistency and integrity of the creative vision
Maintains and oversees the Mint's design system
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Bilingualism preferred

Knowledge:

Expert understanding of visual design principles
Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and digital marketing to optimize the customer experience and journey
Knowledge of UX best practices and Web Accessibility standards
Familiarity with responsive design principles and the ability to create designs optimized for various screen sizes and devices
