About the Position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Change Management Strategy (40%)

  • Design change management strategies and approaches that can be leveraged for large transformational to small change initiatives to achieve desired results.
  • Develop strategies to enable leaders to lead through change, promote and execute the change, including communication, training, and knowledge transfer strategies.
  • Design a process to enable an enterprise view of cross team impacts
  • Create approach for metrics to assess outcomes to enable a cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Create a means of collaborating across TSA.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for leadership on strategic change.

Change Management Execution (50%)

  • Lead the execution of an endtoend change management strategy and plan on key projects to fit the desired project outcome ensuring change is understood, accepted, and sustained.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and execution of the change.
  • Analyze the scope and impact of change to determine people, process, structure, and system risks for individual projects as well as a view across enterprise projects impacting stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of stakeholder expectations through regular and meaningful opportunities to gather and provide both feedback and updates on project progress.
  • Identify resistance and develop required plans to overcome and bring adoption.
  • Build and execute communications plans to drive awareness and understanding.
  • Monitor adoption and celebrate successes across all changes.
  • Lead change updates at project governance forums as required to ensure governance committees at all levels are informed and engaged in progress, challenges and resolutions.

Lead /manage execution by change managers (10%)

  • Oversee change strategy creation with change managers for all sizes of projects within the EPMO portfolio and ensure they are planned and executed effectively.
  • Lead and manage change managers to ensure execution excellence:
  • Change Management plans are strategically designed and applied according to the CM standard strategies and approaches and relevant to project complexity
  • Stakeholder assessments are conducted to drive detailed stakeholder communications, training, support and engagement planning, and execution
  • People risks are identified and managed through creative solutions
  • Communications plans drive awareness and understanding
  • Strategies and plans are coordinated across all change managers, project managers for cross project awareness
  • Status reports for sponsors and owners of projects that are timely and accurate
  • Attend portfolio governance forums as required to provide or support updates

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant discipline e.g. sociology, psychology, business administration
  • Specialized change management certification

PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:


  • At least 10 years hands on experience managing change projects in a complex operating environment
  • Innovative design and facilitation skills related to leader and team member engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build strong trustbased relationships
  • Experience leading and developing strong teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships, working with all levels of management and influencing senior executives across an organization
  • Ability to problemsolve and manage conflict
  • Experience successfully creating results in ambiguous environments
  • Experience in and/or of the NotforProfit sector highly desired
