We are seeking a teacher who MUST possess:

-A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
-Fluent bilingualism in French and English, with strong reading, writing and speaking skills in both languages.
-Demonstrated ability to instruct English Language Arts at the senior year's level.
-Competency in the instruction and assessment of provincial basic French curricula.
-An understanding of the importance of learning French as a second language.
-Demonstrated ability and experience in differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

-Previous successful senior years teaching experience.
-Be motivated to serve students and parents/caregivers throughout their educational journey.
-Committed to building relationships with all students.
-Demonstrate a willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
-A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on their own practices.
-Self motivated.
-Have experience and understanding of differentiated instruction, assessment and universally designed programming.
-Be committed to working within a collaborative environment and in professional learning communities.
-Strong classroom management skills.
-A commitment to culturally proficient education.
-Ability to build programs with a northern perspective.

Wages include one of the most generous packages in the province, and the rate of pay will be determined by our current collective agreement with the Thompson Teachers Association.

Moving Allowance may be available as per Administrative Procedure 2.A.040 available on the School District of
Mystery Lake website.
