Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce online support articles (FAQs, troubleshooting, installation, etc.) leading up to a launch, as well as updating and maintaining information, as necessary.
- Develop and grow the online support content.
- Produce quick start guides, manuals, and specification sheets for new products.
- Work with SMEs and other departments to ensure accuracy of content.
- Perform reviews of documentation projects produced by technical writers on staff to ensure that content is complete, wellwritten, and meets all branding guidelines.
- Manage vendors for CMS user guide software and translation projects with thirdparty translators.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Certificate in Technical Writing and/or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Exceptional English writing and verbal skills.
- Indepth knowledge of HTML, XML, and Microsoft Office.
- Eye for design and ability to create and modify templates for accessibility and visual harmony.
- Bilingualism in French or Spanish would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator would be an asset.

- Ability to be detail oriented in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Ability to weigh the needs of separate stakeholders and identify conflicts that could lead to issues at the time of a launch.
Background Experiences
- Proven working experience as a technical writer.
- Experience with XMLbased CMS or other content management systems used for structured authoring and content reuse.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud design programs, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Experience delivering training, presentations, or webinars would be an asset.
- Ability to design elearning curriculum would be welcomed.
- Coop student or parttime student may be considered.
