DeFord Contracting Inc.

is looking for an _experienced and hardworking _
General Labourer/ Grades Personnel for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:

Provide labour support by conducting general labourer duties
Conduct manual labourer such as shoveling, sweeping raking, etc.
Operate various power tools and equipment as approved and required
Perform duties as assigned
Conduct setup and cleanup tasks at job site as required

Qualifications:

2+ years of Civil Construction industry experience
Ability to read drawings. E.g. civil and structural drawings

Experience with checking grade working with different structures throughout the workday:

Ability to operate small engine equipment
The ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must have a strong work ethic and be team player
Certifications and/or licenses appropriate to industry
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Be willing to work long hours (overtime during peak seasons) in varying weather conditions)
