Specialist, Employee Benefits & Savings Plans

**Description: - Permanent Full Time- As a member of the Employee Benefits team, the
Specialist, Employee Benefits & Savings Plans is responsible for all aspects of reporting, auditing, and data analysis to support our Benefits and Savings programs. This role is best suited to an individual that has well developed analytical, technical, and critical thinking skills. Attention to detail and data accuracy is also key in ensuring we provide an exceptional level of customer service.
What you will do

  • Complete regular audits, reporting and data analysis to ensure data integrity
  • Identify and provide solutions for issues and problems that arise from data inaccuracies
  • Develop and complete adhoc reporting as required
  • Create and maintain procedural documents
  • Test system interfaces for new and existing programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate on Benefits and Savings programs including maintaining content, updating contracts, completing market surveys and financial monitoring

What you will bring

  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources or Business/Commerce or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an HR environment
  • Experience working with employee benefits and savings programs preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical and decisionmaking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of management and employees, gain credibility, provide effective customer service, and foster positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to change, learn new skills rapidly, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (an Excel super user) and MS Office Applications

_Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Winnipeg, Toronto, London._

  • The base salary for this position is between
    $49,100*:
  • $81,800 **annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
