Do you enjoy the thrill of winning work? Are you interested in working on multiple commercial, residential, and design-build EV Infrastructure projects?

As our Electrical Estimator you:

Review and understand job specifications and drawings and follow through with the estimating process to develop competitive bids
Produce material and labor takeoff through accubid estimating software to develop accurate quotations.
Conduct site/tender walkthrough to cross reference drawings to avoid site discrepancies and identify proactive solutions.
Communicate with clients to gather information, and clarify specifications, wording, etc.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing to include within the final quotation provided to the client.
Participate in closing the bid, including bid review meetings, etc.
Participate in handover meetings with the project management team after the award.
Identify potential business opportunities
Maintain good relationships with suppliers
Estimate changes
Minimum (2) years of Estimating experience within the electrical construction industry
Experience in Microsoft Office; with Accubid Pro and/or Enterprise, Live Count a definite asset
Experience using Bluebeam
Experience using excel
Canadian Electrical Code Knowledge
