JOB - LOADER OPERATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load plant feeder bins (Asphalt Operations), or crusher or load trucks
- Assist with stockpiling of aggregate into correct piles to maintain material consistency.
- Work with ground personnel in the maintenance and clean up around the plant site.
- Lift and place equipment/materials during plant maintenance & servicing.
- Responsible for the safe operation & condition of the loader.
- Responsible for fueling, servicing and inspections.
- Promptly report any possible problems or defects with loader or plant.
- Other duties as defined from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of loader operating experience
- Mechanical experience would be an asset.
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with the supervisor and fellow employees, subcontractors and clients.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and good driver's abstract
- Must be able to work outdoors in areas that are dusty or dirty.
