Summary:

Responsibilities:

Fulfilling work orders.
Read and understand detail drawings provided.
Cut/Punch materials as per the detail drawings.
Ensure all dimensions and quality is met.
Operate forklift.
Track and record production.
Staging material in priority sequence for work orders in the ques to minimize machine downtime.
Inspect and measure finished workpieces to determine conformance to specifications.
Assist with preparing and maintaining production equipment for operation.
Handle and move materials and pieces, using lifting devices as required.
Cutting and removal of scrap material.
Carry out inspections of production.
Assist with packaging and shipping when needed.
Count inventory when needed.

Requirements:

3+ years experience working in a manufacturing setting.
3+ years experience operating machines.
Ability to work in Canada.
Adaptability to run different machines when needed.
Punctual and reliable.
Licensed to run a forklift.
