Position Overview:

Job Description:


  • Conducting customer demonstrations of mining equipment.
  • Training customer operators on features of Cat mining machines.
  • After sales follow up on machine operation problems.
  • Extensive travel 50% throughout the dealership territory.
  • Periodic travel to the U.S. for Caterpillar mining equipment operator & sales training.
  • Delivery of effective customer and group presentations.
  • Highly skilled at operating Caterpillar mining & construction equipment, includes: Underground Mining (R1300-R2900, AD30-AD45), Large Mining Trucks ; Hydraulic Mining Shovels, Electric Rope Shovels; Large Motor Graders (24); Large Track Type Tractors (D8-D11); Large Wheel Loaders
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operating a variety of Cat mining equipment including large mining trucks, large motor graders, large track type tractors, large wheel loaders, electric rope shovels & hydraulic mining shovels.
  • Experience with construction equipment would also be an asset.
