What you will do


You will support the team of four non-profits across Waterloo Region, Guelph, Wellington & Dufferin, Halton and Peel in providing over 600 Student Nutrition Programs in schools.

You will build knowledge, skills and confidence in your team through effective supervision, on the ground support, and coaching opportunities.

Making meaningful connections and using effective communication you will develop strong relationships with your team, funders, educators, volunteers, and community partners.

You will foster a positive team environment by encouraging collaboration and advocacy.

You will support all adherence to Program Guidelines, data collection and narrative reports with the funding from the Ministry of Children, Community & Social Services and other generous funders.

You will also complete site visits and administrative responsibilities to ensure a smooth delivery of program.

This role will have direct supervisory experience of the Food & Logistics Specialist (supports vendor & distributor relationships as well as food safety).


What you will bring
Ideally, you are a strong people leader with 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role. You have strong knowledge and demonstrated expertise working with community partners and funded programs. You are comfortable with implementation of program guidelines and supporting _data management. You have experience leading diverse teams and in creating environments that nurture positive, responsive relationships with community partners.

Relationship building, communication, coaching and mentoring, problem solving and critical reflection are key competencies you rely on in your day to day work.
