Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Inspector.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum high school diploma, community college diploma or university bachelor's degree would be considered an asset.

o Red Seal in constructive or pipe trade considered an asset.

o NDE qualifications in VT, MPI, LPI or UT are desirable.

Experience: Trade or inspection experience in a shipbuilding or marine industry is desirable.
Previous NDE experience is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, SharePoint, ability to independently learn to operate new technical software packages.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to negotiate and deal with conflict in a professional manner.
Ability to read and understand specifications and structural and outfit drawings.
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

Key Responsibilities:

Administration of the NDE requests and onsite management of NDE subcontractors and ensuring class review
Completing NDE inspections
Provision of feedback to production on NDE outcomes and next steps
Provision of SME on NDE
