The Yard Inspector is responsible for inspecting and grading all received ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials, verifying material quality and ensuring deductions are made for non-conforming or zero value materials.

Hourly Wage:
$22.01/hour

When:

Monday to Friday: 10:00AM to 7:00PM

What's Expected:

Direct the flow of truck traffic in the yard, providing exceptional customer service to Drivers and Brokers;
Verify physical commodity type through inspection process, confirming materials meet required specifications;
Issue yard tickets noting customer, carrier and material type;
Responsible for identifying, removing and performing deductions for nonconforming material;
Documents received commodity, taking pictures of loads;
Reports to Supervisor all incidents of noncompliance with location specific policies and procedures;
Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor from time to time.

What's Required:

Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride;
Ability to identify and differentiate various ferrous materials through visual inspection preferred but not required;
Previous experience working outdoors will be required;
Six (6) months experience in a similar role/environment preferred but not required;
OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
