This 18-month full-time contract Credit Analyst Supervisor role coaches and supports a team of region-specific Credit Analysts with the overall management of commercial and agricultural accounts.


In collaboration with other Credit Analyst Supervisors, supports best practices, ensuring the Credit Analyst teams can effectively serve our Owners (customers) with lending requests in a professional and timely manner.


The Credit Analyst teams are key partners with our Relationship Managers and Business Banking Representatives as part of the Owner service chain.

This position is eligible for remote work.


The Epic Human we are looking for will:
Provide coaching and support to a regional Credit Analyst team, helping to ensure timely financial analysis and underwriting.
Integrate creative problem by striving to find creative 'win-win' solutions, balancing Owner needs with Libro's risk appetite.

Integrate their strong working knowledge and analytical skills with balance sheets, cash flow mechanics, and business plans provided by Owners.

Assist the Relationship Managers in negotiating terms of credit and appropriately assess risk in the relationship.
Monitor risk areas and reporting related to deposits and loans (Including overdrafts and delinquency).

Assist the assigned Relationship Manager to proactively manage high-risk loans, developing risk issues and changing credit needs to restructure deals, remediate risks and minimize loss.

Ensure all documentation is completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance and compliance with all corporate policies, procedures and legislative requirements, including security and account operating documentation.

Support effective underwriting by developing strong relationships with regional teams, community banking teams and Credit.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Qualifications Required

A university degree with related courses in business finance or agriculture
Work experience of 10-12 years; a minimum of 7-10 years of business banking and lending experience within a financial institution
Demonstrated direct leadership experience; project leadership, mentoring/coaching, initiative, and leading other leaders is preferred.

Subject matter expert in commercial and agricultural financial statement analysis, cash flow mechanics, business plans, credit underwriting, loan structuring and risk management with specific experience in supporting both Commercial and Agriculture requests.

Ability to make & defend lending recommendations

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
