Front of House Coordinator to support synergies through front of house and inventory processes.
Under the direction of the Front of House Manager, this position coordinates the purchasing, inventory, storage, distribution, and service standards of all beverage items.
Scope and Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the locations, products, and supplies of all bars and personnel related to bars based on event requirements.
- In cooperation with the Inventory Assistant, performs appropriate ordering, receipt, movement, and records of all incoming/outgoing beverage items and other bar elements using the purchase order system.
- Works directly with the Front of House Manager to coordinate all staff schedules, assignments, and other important information based on event requirements (uniforms, building entrance, multi room assignments etc).
- Programs and performs data entry tasks in the scheduling, point of sale, inventory and event process systems (7shifts, Light Speed, Ungerboeck).
- Supports the Front of House Manager to distribute information regarding process, policy, uniform, service, and other Guest Services standards to the team.
- Assist in the training of staff who work directly with bars (Bar Tenders, Lounge Attendants) to ensure optimal service and compliance standards.
- Coordinates supplies, service standards, and other information for all Corporate Suites and Luxury Boxes.
- Supports accurate record keeping by entering bar sheet data into the inventory control system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of Grade 1
- Two years of experience in a position of leadership specifically related to bar management
- Valid Serve it Right Certification
- One year of experience in the use of Ungerboeck event planning software
Hours Of Work:
Evening and weekend work will be required.
