JOB DESCRIPTION:


Fort McMurray First Nation Group of Companies is seeking a self-motivated safety conscious individual who will be responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.

This will be at a Construction Site just south of Anzac but the location may vary.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean offices, meeting chambers, camp rooms and recreational facilities
  • Mop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum all carpeted areas
  • Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
  • Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, fixtures and mirrors
  • Replenish required supplies
  • Keep outside area near exits and entrances clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
  • Steam clean floors, clean kitchen sinks and counters
  • Report maintenance issues and acts of vandalism
  • Operate equipment such as buffers
  • Complete FLRA's prior to commencing shift
  • Will be required to pickup/dropoff coworkers to/from site

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday 12 Hour Shifts
  • Day shift rotations
  • Must be comfortable driving in varying weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift 20 pounds or more; prolonged standing, walking, lifting, squatting and bending; operating medium weight cleaning equipment such as buffers, and moving desks and furniture

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous custodial experience
  • CSTS09 or OSSA or BSO
  • Valid Class 4 /5 Drivers License
  • Successful Preaccess Drug and Alcohol Testing
