The Team
You be reporting to Sr Manager, Quality Assurance. You will be part of the GWMS - QA team, which is part of Global Wealth Engineering.
The Role
You will be a Quality Assurance Manager in the GWMS - QA team. You will have a team of QA analysts/specialists reporting to you.
Is this role right for you?
As a Quality Assurance manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing direction, human resources administration, coaching and support to motivate individual and team performance in a stable, professional environment while ensuring department objectives are met.
- Evaluate the performance of immediate subordinates through daily monitoring, regular staff meetings, quarterly reviews of objectives versus accomplishments and annual performance appraisals.
- Direct and guide project test teams to ensure the timely delivery of quality products/functions with business needs
- Manage testing for assigned appl/systems by reviewing and evaluating requirements and design documents.
- Develop/Review and approve work estimates and resource forecasts
- Appraise outstanding issues/risks and mitigation plans
- Analyze industry best practices to recommend improvements to methodology, test environments and workflow to promote and efficient and costeffective testing process
- To represent quality assurance team in the status meetings with stakeholders to review issues and escalate challenges
- Use a standardized project management methodology to guide all projects in a consistent, organized, and reliable manner
- Prepare/Review test strategy, test plan, test schedule, test exits and monitors testing related activities
- Review and hold walkthroughs of test plan, test exit & scenarios.
- Develop/Finalize Test Exit Report and OR checklists.
Do you have the skills?
Must Have skills
- 5+ of experience in related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in management capacity
- Knowledge of Project Management
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in Wealth Management Domain
- Knowledge of Data base concepts and SQL queries
- Knowledge of QA automation best practices
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or field related field
