About the Role


Job Duties

  • Supervise clinical staff by providing individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Provide ongoing training for growth and development.
  • Supporting and establishing clinical practice guidelines to support agency and accreditation standards.
  • Help ensure clinical outcomes are met through our approach and practices.

What you bring:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Exceptional clinical ability and judgment, and a trauma informed approach
  • Significant knowledge of therapeutic and counselling modalities including shortterm, solutionfocused treatment approaches.
  • Substantial knowledge regarding mental health, substance abuse, and critical incident response.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements regarding mandatory reporting and duty to warn.
  • Superior individual and group clinical supervision skills.
  • Experience in the development of policies and practices to support bestpractice clinical service delivery.
  • Ability to think strategically and to proactively develop solutions to problems.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of resources in the community pertaining to clinical issues; competence in working with a multicultural community.
  • Strong computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet and/or database is required for this role

Education, Training, Experience

  • Master's level degree in psychotherapy, social work, psychology, or related field, with minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
  • 25 years of experience providing clinical supervision to individuals and groups preferred
  • Experience providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy on a wide range of clinical issues
  • 2 years of EAP, short term problem resolution and/or call centre/crisis line experience (internal, external, or contract) preferred
  • Workplace Mental Health or Psychological Health & Safety knowledge or experience also preferred
  • Registration as an RCC, CCC or RSW required

Salary range $68, $73,892.00 annual salary range

Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) provides clinical counselling services to employees of client organizations who may be experiencing problems in their personal, family, or work lives.

In addition, the program provides a variety of organizational services to its corporate clients, including workplace consulting and training, and critical incident stress management responses.
