_Recruitment Coordinator _to join our big family at our corporate office in Maple Ridge.

This position works directly within the Human Resources department, and reports directly to the HR Manager. The role requires a great attitude, the ability to pivot tasks quickly and a strong organizational skill set.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR & Recruitment Coordinator will:

  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements.
  • Perform background and reference checks.
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and trade schools.
  • Attend recruitment events in schools, universities, trades schools and industry partners.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process.
  • Advise managers and employees on policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the Recruitment Assistant.
  • Perform filing and recordkeeping duties.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive personnel related records.
  • Ensure Health & Safety related documents are uploaded to the employees' files on Bamboo HR
  • Locate files upon request, ensuring that private information is shared only with authorized parties.
  • Coordinate employee orientation and training including getting all necessary training certificates from new employees.
  • Help to ensure organizationwide compliance with policies, procedures and applicable regulations through effective coaching and communications.
  • Print, photocopy, and scan documents as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience with recruitment is required
  • Formal education in Human Resource Management would be considered a strong asset.
  • Previous experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry is a strong asset
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and other officebased productivity software is required; exposure to a Human Resources Information Systems would be considered an asset
  • Familiarity with bamboo HR is a strong asset
  • Previous experience as a Human Resources Assistant is an asset

Work Conditions

  • Able to lift 25 pounds.
  • The position is officebased. Travelling to site and/or corporate events is required from time to time.
  • Overtime as required.
  • PMP employees work a standard 40hour work week, but hours of work may vary based on business requirements from time to time.

Compensation:
$28/h to $36/h + Life Insurance + 100% Company-Paid Dental & Health Benefits + Educational Sponsorship + 5% RRSP.
