Position Summary:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Human Resource Generalist plays a critical role in the Plant HR Team by ensuring HR programs and initiatives meet employee and business objectives for a diverse group in a non
- unionized environment. This position administers policies and procedures, implements initiatives and provides employee and labour relations support, including leading employee investigations. The position provides guidance and advice to employees and responds to a variety of Human Resources related questions.

Key Accountabilities:

In collaboration with Plant Manager and other key stakeholders, implement annual HR plans that address key business objectives.
Track, analyze and report on key HR metrics and make recommendations on action, if required.
Administers policies and practices, implements corporatewide and local initiatives.
Proactively manages employee issues in support of Sofina's culture.

Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience.
Excellent knowledge and experience in HR functions.
Comfortable in developing and executing plans and promoting ideas.
Experience in Employee relations.
Experience in Labour Relations an asset
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to influence.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information and discretion in all aspects.
Travel to applicable locations required.

Working Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm but need to be flexible according to the business
needs.
