Job Summary
What is the opportunity?
As part of the Central Tax Group with RBC Royal Trust, the Tax Administrator provides efficient administrative support to a team of Tax Managers.
You will be accountable for accurate data and file management to help support the preparation and administration of a large number of tax returns.
Being a tech-savvy individual with attention to detail and experience with electronic filing and digital documentation are key components of this position.
This position is a four-month contract with full-time hours.What will you do?
- Maintain digital tax folders and export key documents
- Sort and scan Canada Post mail and digital mail
- Act as the support resource to Tax Managers
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets and Adobe documents
- Organize digital data and runs
- Assist Tax Officers with mailings of client tax documentation
- Communicate with the CRA and RQ
- Follow established standards and procedures
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve our clients in the community with English speaking needs
- Ability to organize data with meticulous attention to detail
- Resourcefulness and ability to demonstrate strong technical skills to assist with digital documents
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of basic data analysis using pivot tables, filters, and rules
- Previous office administration experience
