Achievers is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our global Employee Success team In this role, you will lead HR administration, support HR Business Partners and be integral in the employee experience.

Reporting to the Sr.

Director of Employee Success, you will support global initiatives and have the opportunity to further develop your professional Human Resources skills and expertise across all areas of Human Resources.


This is an amazing opportunity for someone to join a growing organization and perform several diverse job duties, and gain experience in multiple areas of human resources.

Our office is in Liberty Village, downtown Toronto, and we would love for you to join us in our state-of-the-art new office.

You also have the choice to work remotely 2-3 days a week.


HR Administration:


  • HRIS (Dayforce) administrator, responsible for the integrity of our data and the ability to provide reports upon request
  • Own the general administration of our Achievers employee experience platform
  • Own the endtoend background check process
  • Facilitate new hire orientation ensuring our new hires feel welcomed, act as a key point of contact for all new hires, prepare the deployment of welcome kits and work with IT to ensure in office and remote work setup is completed
  • Review and update HR policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Assists the Payroll and Benefits team with information around payroll, benefits, and invoices received for payment of services
  • Oversee the relationship with employee SWAG vendor, ensuring that inventory is adequate for planned hires.
  • Own and maintain the Employee Resources SharePoint site.

HR Business Partner Support:


  • Triage employee relations inquires and concerns and escalating where necessary through the ownership of the general inquires inbox
  • Administer absence Management and provide vacation reporting for all Achievers employees to ensure compliance
  • Support HRBPs with ad hoc project and inquiries (i.e., Compensation recommendations, performance management documentation, employee relations communications, offboarding activities).

Employee Experience:


  • Partner with Achievers Employee Resources Groups and provide support and understanding of all initiatives to keep the HR team informed (Achievers Wellness, Achievers CARES, Achievers Women's Network, Achievers Proud).
  • Own employee Engagement Events; Quarterly Recognition Event, Employee Appreciation Weeks, Holiday Events, and Wellness initiatives.
  • Support the development and execution of HR communications, HR programs, and initiatives

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Up to date knowledge of best practices and regulations specific to HR in both Canada and the US
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with leaders and employees with a credible voice

Experience:


  • 2+ years' experience with knowledge in a range of HR areas, including employee relations, performance management, talent management, compensation & benefits, employee experience, regulatory compliance and learning & development
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Working towards or completing CHRP designation is an asset.
  • Experience with an HRIS system such as Dayforce is preferred
  • Experience in a Software or SAAS organization and/or matrixed organizations in a global setting would be considered an asset
