Department Overview:

TD Technology Delivery covers planning and delivery of small projects or services within segment CIO groups. While investing heavily in nurturing business, client and partner relationships for end-to-end delivery of technology solutions or services, these professionals also collaborate with multiple specialized functional teams (e.g. Application Development, Solutions Designers, Business Systems Analysts, Support, Project Management etc.) and seamlessly manage ongoing infrastructure support and shared services to segment CIOs, business leaders and various TD stakeholders. Let's not forget they communicate the technology organization's overall book of work and manage stakeholder expectations. It's a big and busy mandate. There's room to grow in all of it.


Job Description:


  • Contribute to control assessments such as the CGA & TARA and facilitating annual activities such as DR testing and Diamond attestations
  • Work with vendor management on 3PCRM assessments, tracking and resolving outstanding findings, providing technical consulting and assisting with incident management
  • Assess change requests and intakes across the portfolio and identify key items for reporting
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely/accurate communication and resolution of issues; monitor billings/expenses against contracts
  • Work closely with IT leadership to ensure ongoing focus on reusability, scalability, and enterprisewide solutions, to maximize returns on the suite of products
  • Communicate business vision / goal and portfolio priorities to colleagues who may be supporting you with deliverables
  • Perform impact assessments and develop estimates as new project intakes are submitted for review
  • Track and oversee small enhancement deliverables; communicate updates; support initiatives intended at reducing timetomarket and containing costs
  • Ensure operational, reputational, and intellectual risks are understood, and provide advice towards minimizing risk and escalate where appropriate
  • Maintain high level of customer service and ensure commitments are met; recommend appropriate actions to enhance service levels, through effective service level management practices/ agreements
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the team and relationships with other groups, sharing knowledge of client and customer issues, needs and expectations, and contributing to sound decisions

Requirements:


Job Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Knowledgeable of external competition, industry and/or market trends in relation to own business
  • Works independently and often autonomously in the management of projects, teams and operational disciplines and develops strategic thinking/ planning in the execution of work plans with a short to medium term business perspective
  • Proven ability to development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement
  • Reports to the Sr. Manager for HR Technology
