_Temporary, Part-Time - Approximately 16 Weeks__)_**- Located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, West Vancouver is a vibrant community on the North Shore and home to parks, beaches, and to sports, recreation, and arts amenities. We are seeking employees with a passion for public service who share our commitment to creating a complete, inclusive, and livable community.
- educating the public about waste reduction and water conservation;
- developing digital and print education and outreach material;
- conducting outreach in neighbourhoods, business districts, and at community events;
- delivering presentations to community groups (virtually and/or in-person); and
- performing other related duties as required.
- work independently with minimum supervision;
- work outdoors in a physically demanding role in all types of weather conditions; and
- use Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Position Status:
Temporary Part-Time


Please note:
if the Canada Summer Jobs funding for this position is approved, membership in the WVMEA will be mandatory.


Hours of Work:
32 hours per week (hours and days may vary and may include evenings or weekends); the position will start in May


Rate of Pay:
$26 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits
