Energy Network Services is the largest turn-key lighting service provider in Canada. Operating programs for national and regional clients for energy efficient lighting, control systems, and lighting maintenance projects.

We lead in the provision of innovative and cost-effective services for improving energy performance for commercial, industrial, retail, and institutional facilities in both the private and public sectors.

Energy Network Services currently has Certificate of Recognition (COR) in multiple provinces, and familiarity with these processes is required.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the Health and Safety for the company
  • Coordinate and conduct site inspections, safety meetings, project safety orientation
  • Monitor and handle the performance of internal staff and subcontractors on safe work procedures and utilization of proper protective equipment and practices
  • Conduct regular and random site audits and provide related reports for trends analysis
  • Investigate all accidents, incidents and near misses and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Work with Management to implement and improve the entire health and safety program
  • Complete all health and safety reports in a timely manner including but not limited to WSIB and OH&S forms and ensure accidents and incidents are properly reported
  • Actively participate and lead the Joint Health and Safety committees and field employee meetings
  • Maintain, learn and enforce the Health and Safety regulations, policies, practices and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in construction health and safety is an asset
  • Knowledge in Certificate of Recognition (COR) program is beneficial
  • Up to date in Ontario Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Displays organizational skills
  • Communicates and interacts effectively with internal staff, office visitors, clients and vendors
  • Strong multitasking skills and time management skill, with the ability to efficiently attend to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, with emphasis on MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is mandatory
  • Knowledgeable in other provincial Health and Safety regulations is beneficial

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
