Your Opportunity:


The Administrative Assistant IV position is responsible for maintaining and controlling the inventory of supplies, products, and materials needed for the operation of the Edmonton Radiopharmaceutical Centre.

The position is responsible for shipping and receiving of radioactive and non-radioactive materials and the occasional transport of radioactive and non-radioactive materials using the department vehicle.

The role combines a knowledge of stores, radiation safety, and transportation of dangerous goods as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health Canada regulations regarding the storage and control of inventory.

The position will also provide coverage and assistance to the Administrative Assistant IV and V and Lab Assistant II in the department including reception duties, radiopharmaceutical prescription entry, and staff time entry.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary secretarial, administrative support, or unit clerk certificate, diploma, or degree from a recognized school or college. Equivalency in education and experience will be considered.


Preferred Qualifications:

Transportation Dangerous Goods and Radiation Safety training.
