Position Overview:
The Calian Digital Health Solutions Account Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities with a focus on our suite of digital health products and service offerings.
The Calian Digital Health Solutions Account Executive is also responsible for managing relationships with all new and existing customers and partners, supporting the Health Business Unit in achieving appropriate sales and profitability targets while exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for Calian Digital Health Solutions
- Manage the business development pipeline, overseeing opportunities throughout the sales cycle
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and partners in assigned regions and sectors
- Identify and nurture new partnerships and opportunities
- Recognize crossselling and upselling opportunities with clients
- Promote Calian's Digital Health platform and services as solutions for client needs
- Advocate for renewing existing client contracts and influence proposal requirements
- Review proposals and participate in pricing meetings accordingly
- Utilize sales tools and contribute to the development of sales communications
- Stay current with industry trends through ongoing learning and selfdirected study.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and understand their evolving needs
- Identify and qualify new business prospects
- Support gross margin maintenance and improvement against targets
- Seek additional revenue opportunities with existing contracts
Qualifications:
- A postsecondary education from a recognized college or university
- Preestablished contacts and relationships in the Canada Healthcare with essential decision makers of health organizations in both public and private sectors
- A solid understanding of the Canadian health ecosystems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs and diligent in using and learning CRM tools
- Experience in leading and contributing to proposals
- Experience working on sales opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle
- Bilingual in English and French will be considered an asset
Additional Requirements:
- Superior planning, analytical and business development skills
- Present a professional, positive image that represents the Calian values and ethics
- Strong and effective communication skills, must be able to relate well with internal and external customers
- Solid financial acumen with strong data analysis capabilities
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives autonomously
- A sense of urgency to achieve results and a "cando" attitude with a focus on positive customer experience
