Matrix is currently looking to hire a

Manager - Global Strategic Portfolio Management for an exciting client of ours located in Toronto Ontario. This is a One (1) year contract role and a hybrid of working at home, This is Monday to Friday with 3 days working in the office.

Description:

Develop current state processes at Levels 1, 2, and 3 and document all personas, actors, stakeholders, and contributors.
Define future state endtoend processes for each of the processes in the process catalogue and document future state.
Help set up governance on processes to ensure work is completed within the projectdefined timelines.
Defines, drives, and coordinates the development of process reengineering and process improvement initiatives and activities.
Conducts detailed analysis of existing processes including developing required process maps and documentation for multiple business units.
Analyze data to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement.
Develop and maintain the SPM tool process and practices and ensure consistent adoption across business units.
Coordinate and collaborate with process owners, change management functions and business unit leads to develop, deploy and align process enhancements across the business units.
Oversee and manage the consistent implementation/usage of the SPM tool, processes, and practices.
Work with Segment/Regional leads to establish a Global and segment operating model.
Work with other tooling leads/SMEs to support the integration of the SPM tool and processes with other tools/processes within the Global technology ecosystem.
Manage/support releases and ongoing enhancements while focusing on a flawless and robust operating relationship with business unit leads.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of 10+ years of experience in Strategic portfolio management, PMO, and project management. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
5+ years of experience in the SPM tool "Clarity" is a must.
7+ years of experience in delivering process improvements and process reengineering.
4+ years of people management and team building experience is a must.
Knowledge of quality/process improvement/reengineering methodologies such as Six Sigma & Lean. Six Sigma
Black Belt Certification is preferred.
Ability to interview and facilitate focused group discussions as well as work collaboratively to build consensus and influence stakeholders across multiple business units.
Experience in operating within unstructured and ambiguous environments and Global matrix settings.
Business and technical acumen along with an understanding of how technology operates at a Global level working with different countries and segments is an asset.
University Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Finance & related designation.
Creative and strategic thinking with proven analytical and problemsolving skills to identify a meaningful solution.
