Within our program, interns are an integral part of our team working alongside real estate analysts, transaction professionals and other associates.

You will gain valuable insight into the commercial real estate industry while being exposed to multiple lines of business over the course of your internship.


AS AN INTERIOR DESIGN INTERN AT JLL YOU WILL:
Perform elementary interior assignments and works from the designs of others.

Supporting both the Intermediate Designer & Senior Interior Designer to develop vibrancy profiles, work modality mapping, block plans, and test fits.

Develops, modifies, and/or reviews production drawings or presentations according to established standards.
Assisting in the selection of furniture and colour/finishes.
Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
Supporting both the Design Team and Workplace Consulting team in preparing presentations/decks with graphic design components.
Attending project meetings and generating meeting minutes.
Participate in weekly team meetings, intern meetings, and mentor/mentee meetings.


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Currently enrolled in a 3rd/4th year architecture or interior design program.
Previous internship in an architectural or interior design firm preferred.
Possess basic hand and CAD drafting skills.
Proficiency in Revit is preferred.
Basic proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as Sketchup, Lumion, Enscape, and TwinMotion.
Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
Basic knowledge about sustainability and LEED preferred.
Basic knowledge of the Ontario Building Code is preferred.
Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate verbally, written, and graphically.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
