Job Summary:
As a contractor, you will work on a project basis, collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from work-related injuries.
Your expertise in kinesiology and occupational rehabilitation will play a vital role in helping our clients regain physical function and return to work successfully.
Your work will include:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical capabilities, functional limitations, and workrelated goals
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs based on individual clients' needs, incorporating evidencebased practices and kinesiology principles.
- Provide handson guidance and instruction to clients on proper body mechanics, ergonomics, and exercises to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical wellbeing.
- Utilize modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue techniques to facilitate recovery and enhance functional abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, physicians, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery and facilitate timely returntowork outcomes.
- Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, workplace ergonomics, and selfmanagement techniques to minimize the risk of reinjury.
- Provide clear and concise written reports detailing assessment findings, treatment progress, and recommendations for future care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
- Valid certification as a Kinesiologist from a recognized professional association.
