Job duties:

Plan, direct, organize, control, and evaluate, through middle managers, the operations of the organization in relationship to established objectives.
Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implementing the company's organizational policies and programs.
Establish financial and administrative controls for the company.
Formulate and approve promotional campaigns for the company.
Approve all human resources planning, including establishing and organizing the company's departments and appointing the managers who will run them.
Select the company's managers and provide them with the required tools and authority to manage their departments effectively.
Serve as the company's representative in an official capacity, for example during negotiations, or authorize another member of the company's management team to represent the company.

Skills requirements

Required education:

An MD degree and board certification as a Medical Affairs Specialist are preferred.
An advanced degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred.

Required work experience:

10+ years of experience as a Director, Senior Vice President or Vice President in a wellestablished medical device regenerative medicine company.
5+ years of experience running a profitable consulting company in medical affairs, supporting the medical industry.
5+ years of experience in due diligence and business development.
5+ years of experience in clinical strategy and clinical affairs.
5+ years of experience in drafting CER packages and working experience with EU MDR.
Proven ability in consulting contract negotiations and in securing clients and projects from Canadian and global clients.
Proven organizational leadership ability.
Proven ability to collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in research, publications, advisory boards, medical education, and product development in the US, Canada, and/or other countries.
At least one year of relevant work experience in Canada.
