About This Role

Lead a significant business management function and/or strategy planning, oversight, control or governance activities for highly complex / high risk / transformational (change the bank) / strategic initiatives, liaising across the organization and primarily interfacing with executive and/or functional stakeholders.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business management function and play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies in support of the overall business strategy
Plan, lead / manage and/or oversee a diverse set of work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas
Lead / manage the integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes in across multiple functional areas
Facilitate key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience (output is roadmap and/or strategic plan/ deliverables/frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)
Lead partner to management / leadership and respective teams for area of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management
Work effectively with multiple teams across a broad spectrum of initiatives and functional domains, influencing and aligning others as needed

Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to business management activities for own area- Actively manage relationships with corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements

Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts

to the Bank- Assess / identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required

Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure an in alignment with risk appetite
Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets).
Lead relevant governance meetings or committees and related deliverables / outcomes
Lead / facilitate and/or implement action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues

Job Requirements

It helps if you have:

Undergraduate Degree or relevant work experience.
10+ years of experience in management of Business Strategy
Ability to assume accountability for a significant business management area that typically has enterprisewide impact or accountability.
Confidence and ability to undertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives (may manage and prioritize multiple projects at a given time) that require seasoned specialist knowledge and/or the integration of crossfunctional processes (focus may be on longerrange planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater).
Thought leadership and/or industry knowledge specific (but not limited to) your own area of expertise.
Strength in working directly with senior and executive management.
Very strong presentation and writing skills of Data Story telling on how it drives value for the organization.
Generally accountable for a significant business management area that typically has enterprise wide impact or accountability
Enterprise or functional expert, requiring broad managerial and deep specialized knowledge at the enterprise, business, regulatory and industry levels
Undertake and complete a variety of complex initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge a
