We are currently recruiting
Resident Safety Personnel to join our growing team providing 1:1 support, assisting with High Intensity Needs residents in Long Term Care settings.

We are currently seeking individuals for
full-time hours

Paid training includes:

Infection Control, COVID19 screening & testing
Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA)
Responding to Responsive Behaviours in Long Term Care

Resident Safety Personnel responsibilities:

Assist with High Intensity Needs Residents in Long Term Care settings on a 1:1 basis
Monitoring resident behavior, redirecting as needed
Assist with screening measures such as asking specific screening questions and other measures that may be implemented
Take temperatures for the staff/visitors who enter the client's property
Providing impeccable customer service

Resident Safety Personnel requirements:

Valid Standard First Aid & CPR certification
(Must be from a Red Cross trained organization):
Must pass Vulnerable Police Check (VPC)
(REQUIRED):
3 COVID19 Vaccinations (required in LTC)
Valid Driver's License
(REQUIRED):
Own vehicle or reliable method of transportation
(REQUIRED):
Willing to travel out of Sarnia for locations such as Petrolia, Wallaceburg & Chatham
Previous experience within Long Term Care or working with the elderly is an asset
Full availability including nights, days, afternoons, weekends & statutory holidays, 8 to 10 hour shifts
Proactive, attentiontodetail, selfmotivated, team players

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary:
$15.50-$18.00 per hour
