POSITION:
Packaging Operator

LOCATION:
Guelph, Ontario

LEVEL:
Individual Contributor

DESCRIPTION:
Shift work is required - Must be able to work all shifts including days, nights an afternoons. Shift rotates on a two week basis.

Hourly rate is $20.74/hour plus applicable shift premiums ($1.20 for afternoon shift and $1.55 for night shift)

DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

Participate and assist in all packaging operations to meet production and shipping schedules
Work in compliance with company and regulatory policies
Report unusual incidents and accidents and assist in developing corrective measures
Work closely with all departments and crew leaders to ensure that internal and external customers are being adequately serviced
Assist in onthejob training
Maintain production documents
Maintain a clean and safe workstation and area
Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report nonconformities
Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

Mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Trouble shooting ability
Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24 hour operation, may be required to work weekends
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new job skills
Demonstrated ability to meet Packaging job requirements, including initiative, safety, housekeeping, attendance and productivity
