We are currently recruiting for a full-time
Processing Associate at our
Ancaster, Ontario facility.


The Processing Associate must carry out day-to-day tasks including plucking, trimming, hanging, drying of product as well as the sanitation of tools, equipment, and rooms each day. This role is also implicated in the final steps of the drying and curing process (e.g., verifying and ensuring all material moving to the long-term storage phase is at an appropriate moisture-level for final packaging.)


Work Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday | 7:00 am to 3:00 pm


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Harvesting and pre/postprocessing of cannabis
  • Work closely with all finished product in the drying room, secured storage rooms and sampling area.
  • Perform all activities related to rack drying premium sublot, harmonizing stage after drying, and all activities post EnWavedrying, including introduction of TerpLoc technology.
  • Conduct moisture sampling and recordkeeping of bagtobag variances
  • Provide support with dry waste destruction and accurate record keeping.
  • Organize and stage rackdried material and dried product takedown.
  • Manually feed cannabis into a bucking and destemming machine
  • Manually feed and operate an automated trimming machine
  • Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis
  • Execution of pest management protocols as directed by QAP
  • Maintenance of all sanitation protocols
  • Keep daily records for accuracy and compliance with all the laws and Health Canada standards
  • Transport pre
- and post-processed cannabis between production environments

  • Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards
  • Record and track finished product in accordance with strict regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate and escalate any issues to the appropriate channels

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a grower or a similar processing position in a manufacturing environment
  • Must demonstrate accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail

Working Conditions:


  • This is a greenhouse and manufacturing working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity, extreme variation of temperature throughout different areas and departments of the facility

Physical Requirements:


  • This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
  • Possibility of repetitive motion
