Position Summary
Classic Landscapes is seeking a Fence & Amenities Administrator to join our team.

This position requires an individual who is organized, who demonstrates a high attention to detail, and has strong communication skills.

This position is accountable for cost estimation, contract administration, project administration, client communications and contributing to Classic's collaborative workplace.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Complete quotes:
  • Review of drawings, specifications, and contract terms
  • Preparation of submittals and completion of forms
  • Completion of quantity takeoffs
  • Solicitation of pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Completion of accurate project cost estimates
  • Communication with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Contract administration including:
  • Review and preparation of issued contracts including required submittals
  • Preparation of subcontract agreements
  • Assist with material ordering
  • Set up for contract and progress tracking per company processes
  • Organization, preparation and tracking of contract files such as RFIs and change orders
  • Project administration including:
  • Supporting and maintaining communications with Construction Coordinators from project start to project closeout
  • Completion of invoicing
  • Customer relations, communications and client meetings
  • Providing support to and collaborating with fellow team members
  • Other duties relevant to the position that are assigned as required

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Diploma in Landscape Architectural Technology, twoyear postsecondary diploma in a related/relevant field or equivalent experience is considered an asset
  • Able to understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient computer skills and strong working knowledge of Office Suites
  • AutoCAD skills and drafting experience is highly valued
  • Willingness and ability to learn and become competent in a variety of software platforms
  • Accountability
  • Self motivated and attentive to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and on a team with mínimal direction
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Salary

  • Based on experience, negotiated upon hiring.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (required)
