Job Requirements:


Education and Experience:

  • Secondary School graduation or equivalent (for example GED)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an office or office setting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing excellent customer/client service in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience providing customer/client service in an adversarial environment
Preference may be given for one or more of the following:

  • 2 or more years of experience in an office or office setting
  • Experience, education and/or training in the Natural Resources sector
  • Experience in Natural Resources permit and/or authorizations work
  • Experience in a contact centre or call centre environment
  • Completion of the Certified Service Professional program

Willingness Statements:

  • Willingness to assist customers on the phone for up to seven hours a day
  • Willingness to keep selfinformed on current trends and issues through ongoing training, education and participation in team projects
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting at a desk for up to seven hours a day
  • Willingness to travel occasionally

About this Position:

This position can be based in any Ministry of Forests office.
