Role Summary:

IT Asset Management Team is accountable for Sun Life's Information Technology (IT) assets, ensuring they are inventoried and appropriately managed through their life cycle (acquisition, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.

IT Asset Management team is also accountable for the governance and reporting framework for the Currency Management.

Accountabilities:

This role responsibilities may include:

Conducting research into technology Lifecyle, and available vendor support to provide assessments, incident response assistance, and reporting.
Close collaboration with technical leads/enterprise architects from all SunLife markets
Providing guidance and support of currency issues to CIO delegates across the SunLife
Playing a key role in aligning stakeholders on the currency strategy and delivery roadmap, communicating with, and actively engaging additional stakeholders when required
Supporting the communicates, tracks, monitors, of internal & external EOL/EOS audit findings
Supporting aggregation of key risk indicators (KRI) metrics and share with relevant stakeholders
Identify and manage issues and themes that cross multiple geographic regions and/or product groups and oversee the resolution of currency
Ensuring consistent practices across platforms and ensure communications are disseminated appropriately

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills.
Working experience with technology lifecycles, technology currency and ability to identify business system currency EOL/EOS challenges.
Experience with compliance and regulatory reporting.
Experience with developing reporting documents as directed.
License management experience is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
Superior organizational skills and managing the impacts of competing deadlines and priorities.
Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Experience with ServiceNow tool.

Competencies:

University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, mathematics, engineering, IT security management, risk management, or comparable professional education/training in a field relevant to IT Security management.
Minimum 5 years in Information Technology, preferably with experience in software lifecycle management, technology currency, technology asset management, security operations, or risk management.
Detail oriented with good organizational and analytical skills.
Detailed networking, and computer knowledge (Software & Hardware)
Knowledge of multiple operating systems and applicable system administration skills (Windows, Unix, Linux).
Familiarity with the tools and techniques commonly used by malicious actors including vulnerability scanners, malware, and penetration testing platforms/frameworks.
Knowledge of Information Security principles, protocols, practices, and industry standards.
Understanding of existing and emerging Information Security technologies.
Good technology generalist, with a good understanding of all aspects of IT especially architecture.
Strong written communication skills and presentation skills.
Ability to work with mínimal direct oversight, maintaining high quality analytical production.
