***As a member of the NFI Group Finance team, the Finance Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of Oracle EPM (Planning, FCCS, ARCS & Narrative Reporting) and processes by implementing solutions to maximize department efficiencies. This role drives projects, system administration and supports operational activities, as part of aligning Finance and Tax with all business units across NFI Group.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Supporting / leading multiple, often complex projects, including defining and managing scope, communicating with stakeholders, supporting analysis, working to timelines and holding all project members accountable, ensuring development and testing is executed, and delivering minimum viable product/solution.
  • Leading core daily operations within Oracle EPM, including mappings, creation of new accounts and similar members, validating integrations between systems and backing up of files.
  • Providing leadership and training to team members and peers by collaborating with others, communicating with senior management and other stakeholders in finance, tax, ITS, Process Improvement, and other stakeholders across the organization; driving to resolve issues; holding self and team accountable for results.
  • Implementing and supporting system solutions that align with the strategic direction of Finance and Tax, and with the organization as a whole; includes system design, system integrations, system configurations, and can also include postimplementation/ongoing operational support.
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of business and systems processes, the information/data required and generated by these processes, and the systemfunctionality that ensures these processes are costeffective and efficient especially within Oracle EPM.
  • Identifying and supporting continuous improvement opportunities in the business through reviews and assessments of current business processes and systems.
  • Leading acceptance testing of new integrations and system enhancements to ensure system functions in accordance with detailed specifications.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Project Management and/or Business/Systems Analysis training strongly recommended.
  • Business Analysis certification is an asset.
  • 3+ Years' experience with ERPs or complex systems in a system administrative role.
  • Accounting designation/knowledge considered an asset
  • Development capability (Groovy, SQL) encouraged.
  • System configuration knowledge is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Creative problemsolving ability, exceptional skills in planning, organization, analytical, interpersonal, leadership and decisionmaking.
  • Thorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineering.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office
  • Word, Excel, Access, Visio).
