It's a place where residents are deeply passionate and take pride in their identities and endeavors. Island Health is looking to hire a part-time Community Occupational Therapist in Port McNeill, BC. As a key member of the healthcare team, the Community Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services to clients, offer guidance to caregivers, and educate individuals and the community on rehabilitation interventions. The ideal candidate will have:
    • Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy.
    • Current practicing registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (or eligibility).
    • Eligibility for membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
    • Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
    • Preference for prior experience in community settings.
    • Valid BC driver's license. Island Health provides:
