Assistant Manager of Facilities
_Permanent Full-Time _
We are seeking an Assistant Manager of Facilities to be responsible for the day-to-day operations,
maintenance and repair of the District's facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can work
with the Manager of Facilities to set objectives and create strategies for the effective maintenance and
operations of District facilities. In addition, the Assistant Manager will coordinate and oversee ongoing
projects, and provide leadership and direction to the Facilities staff. This dynamic and technical position would

If you have three years' experience in building maintenance and two years' experience in managing people, as

General Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Facilities, the Assistant Manager of Facilities is responsible for the day-to-day operations,
maintenance and repair of the District's facilities. In addition to assisting with the efficient delivery of maintenance to
District facilities, the Assistant Manager coordinates and oversees ongoing projects, as well as provides leadership and
direction to the Facilities staff.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Contributes to the success of our team, creation of our community, and delivering outstanding customer service by

- Follows the District of Squamish's Customer Service Guidelines to ensure the Delivery of Outstanding Service.
Leadership and Supervision
- Works closely with the Manager of Facilities to set objectives and create strategies for the effective maintenance
