Join our dynamic team

Become part of our growing and innovative Parking Services team as the Parking Maintenance Coordinator. This role manages and coordinates maintenance, coin collection and asset management of parkade facilities, parking lots, meters, pay stations, EV chargers, licence plate recognition system, security, and other parking equipment/technology. The Parking Maintenance Coordinator also assists with capital projects and the supervision of staff and contractors.

Duties - Union

• Supervise, support, and provide direction to staff and contractors involved in the operation, maintenance, installation, and repair of branch assets and equipment.

• Administer asset management, inventory and preventative maintenance programs for equipment and vehicles.

• Act as administrator of pay station/meter control, EV, parkade, and asset management software.

• Perform inspections of parkade facilities, surface lots and other public parking areas for operational, maintenance or safety issues and initiate/coordinate appropriate response.

• Perform maintenance, enforcement, collections, and administrative duties.

• Respond to Service Requests, petitions, and correspondence.

• Submit service requests/work orders to other departments or contractors and follow up.

• Liaise with security manager/contractor and review reports to identify action required.

• Record, report, and supply evidence for infractions of bylaws, provincial statutes, or criminal code.

• Conduct research, prepare, present, plan and implement projects and programs.

• Provide input into branch budgets and monitors expenses and revenues.

• Assist with capital projects/major repairs in parkades/ lots and replacement of equipment.

• Provides backup coverage for Parking Operations Coordinator
