Mos Mos Coffee is a recognizable, expanding brand in downtown Toronto. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Baker to join our team and-
Responsibilities:_
- Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
- Be able to lift and carry objects weighing 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Be able to stand for an extended period of time.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area; setup and breakdown workstation; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.
Requirements:_
- Must have at minimum of 12years of experience working as a pastry cook, baker or related field.
- Must have demonstrated experience in regard to baking pastries and cookies
- College diploma or certification in baking and pastry arts and/or equivalent certification is considered to be an asset.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Able to lift up to 25kg of equipment and ingredients.
Working hours (not limited to / can be discussed):_
Monday / Wednesaday / Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
Saturday / Sunday 8:00am to 1:00pm
Salary:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Tips
Experience:
- Baking: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (required)
