Job Purpose and Impact

The Chief Refrigeration Operator will supervise and execute the overall technical engineering and design of build projects that are operationally efficient.

In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities with a focus on the conceptual, basic and detailed engineering design over a project lifetime for our protein facility.

Key Accountabilities

Implement and develop area design packages in compliance with regulatory codes, area standards and specific technology needs.
Select, lead and direct the external service providers to support project objectives.
Oversee the development of the area estimate to track progress against estimate.
Lead the activities for other partners that are supporting the development of the project design.
Partner with regional and global leadership to identify work process enhancements.
Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
A - Refrigeration certification
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading third party resources to deliver business results
Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety
Two years of supervisory experience Relocation

Relocation may be provided to Guelph, Ontario if required.
