Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Flaggers to join our team for various projects in the Edmonton area.

As a Flagger, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of workers and the public by directing traffic around construction sites.

This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Direct and control traffic flow in and around construction sites.
  • Communicate effectively with other flaggers, construction workers, and the public.
  • Set up traffic signs, cones, and barricades as needed.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Monitor traffic and make adjustments as necessary to ensure smooth flow.
  • Report any safety hazards or traffic issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:


  • Must have personal protective equipment, including a hivis jacket, hivis trousers, and a yellow hard hat.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to various job sites within the Edmonton area.
  • Previous experience as a flagger or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Benefits:


  • Competitive starting wage of $20 per hour.

Wage increases by $1 per hour for every 200 hours worked, up to a maximum of $23 per hour._

Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 6 months


Pay:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
