Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent provides support to graduate students, faculty, and visitors in the absence of the Graduate Administrator.

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of regulations throughout the university; a thorough knowledge and understanding of procedures governing processing of student records
Thorough knowledge of the procedures and precedents involved.
Personal initiative is essential.
Tact, reliability, good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
Ability to take initiative, set priorities, work under pressure, and be able to work with a minimum of supervision is very important.

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

Two-year college diploma, or two years of post-secondary study at the university level or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum five years of related experience in a university environment, or equivalent, including a sound knowledge of undergraduate studies.
