Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent provides support to graduate students, faculty, and visitors in the absence of the Graduate Administrator.


Qualifications:


The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of regulations throughout the university; a thorough knowledge and understanding of procedures governing processing of student records
  • Thorough knowledge of the procedures and precedents involved.
  • Personal initiative is essential.
  • Tact, reliability, good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
  • Ability to take initiative, set priorities, work under pressure, and be able to work with a minimum of supervision is very important.

Education and Experience:


The above is normally acquired through the completion of:

  • Two-year college diploma, or two years of post-secondary study at the university level or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five years of related experience in a university environment, or equivalent, including a sound knowledge of undergraduate studies.
